Upon receipt, Bridges will send a receipt of donation letter for all donations regardless of the amount.

Note: Bridges is unable to accept donations in the form of stocks, bonds, land, annuities, etc. These need to be converted to cash prior to donation to Bridges.

Online via Venmo:

  1. On Venmo, search for @sewardcountybridgesinc to go to Seward County Bridges’ charity profile or use this QR code:








  2. When you are on Bridges’ Venmo charity profile, it says, “What’s this for?” enter Great Plains Literacy Festival under Bridges’ umbrella that you want to donate to. If no program name is listed, the donation will go to Bridges’ general account for operations.

  3. Enter the amount you wish to donate.Venmo takes 1.9% plus $0.10 of each donation. For example, if a donor gives $100; $98 will go to the program under Bridges and $2 will go to Venmo. Both the fee to Venmo and the donation to the charity are nonrefundable.

  4. Venmo will send an official donation receipt to donors, so Bridges will not send areceipt of donation letter for online donations through Venmo.

Donations to support the Great Plains Literacy Festival must be made to Seward County Bridges with “GPLF” in the memo to ensure tax-deductible status.
